The criticality of the standards and other requirements are reviewed and are based on quality and safety of care the organization possesses. This certification evaluation has rigorous standards of care based on data collection guidelines, and measures clinical complications and outcomes. These are; surgical site infection rates, new neurological deficits, unplanned return visit to the OR, and pre-operative and post-operative Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO’s).
